Bistro in Vitro: Would you like dodo nuggets with that?

Bistro in Vitro is a virtual restaurant that lets you imagine the culinary possibilities with cultured meat.

Dutch artist Koert van Mensvoort has created an online, “food for thought” restaurant that showcases the potential of cultured meat. Cultured meats are sustainable meats created from the stem cells of real meat. With the cost of producing real meat damaging to natural resources, consuming cultured meats might become the norm in the future.

Mensvoort has collaborated with celebrated chefs Erik Van Loo, Richard McGeown, Jonathon Karpatios and Simone Zanoni to create a menu to fulfil the most expansive of gastronomic dreams.

Some of the foods include friendly Foie Gras, scallops with culture caviar, see-through sashimi, ravioli of cultured bresse chicken, crane origami, dodo nuggets and celebrity cubes.

Which one will you order?
